Through a blend of theory and practical training, this course teaches waxing techniques for both face and body, along with eyebrow and eyelash tinting. You will develop the ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate post-care treatments.

Program Duration

  • 8 hours (2 days)
  • 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Requirements

  • Gr.12 OSSD/High School Graduate or Mature Student Status (18 Ontario, 19 out of province)
  • Successful completion of entrance evaluation
  • Admissions interview

What Will I Learn?

  • Through a combination of theory and hands-on practice, you will learn waxing techniques for both face and body, as well as eyebrow and eyelash tinting. You will acquire the skills required to determine a client’s needs and recommend post-care treatments. You will practice what you are learning and improve your skills at Chellsey Med-Spa, a full-service classroom and retail boutique open to the public. Working under the guidance of qualified Instructors, you will manage the administrative functions of the spa, including front line responsibilities, retail operations and providing spa services. You will provide waxing, eyebrow and eyelash tinting treatments to clientele.
